IP Stack no activated.



I'm trying to connect two routers (7206 and 1700) via a serial
interface over IP. Currently the serial communicates perfectly via IPX.
I've just confgured ip addresses on both sides with a /30 mask and
encapsulation is PPP but they cannot ping each other. I even tried HDLC
but the IP stack on the interface cannot even open. I have attached the
"show interface" command output of both routers:
