The Check Heaps process is run once a minute to verify the consistency
of the memory heaps. Basically to verify all the memory structures are
valid and intact and that there is no memory corruption. Depending on
how much memory you have, check heaps may have to work more to verify
the consistency of your memory. What do you mean by the most time
consuming process and can you post a "show ver" and "show proc cpu" ?
