Urgent req for Mainframe Cache Programmer Portland, OR.

Mainframe Cache Programmer
3 to 5 years working with the Cache programming language is required.
Candidate must have Cache programming experience. There is not a
substitute for this. They will working on a small team of 3-6 people
on a new release. Ability to work in a complex environment with
multiple priorities and a variety of different people and tasks is
also important.
Position Description:
Duties include system's analysis/design, writing functional
specifications, program development, testing and production support
(including on-call rotation duties). Duties may also include some
project meeting activities. Works on problems involving the evaluation
of specifications for complex business requirements and processes
(new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares computer
solutions. Performs and leads modeling and analysis efforts. Verifies
program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs
programs. Participates in the overall system testing. Supports the
implementation of the application changes into production.
Experience Level: 3-6 Years.
Skill Set:
Current use of mainframe programming languages, and other bank
utilities/tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of structured project
methodology a must. Strong attention to detail with outstanding
problem solving skills. The ability to organize multiple priorities
and meet deadlines. Analytical ability. Negotiation skills. Ability to
work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Location: Portland Area, OR.
Duration: 12 months
