We want to have a machine VPN'd into our client's network and still
have that machine have the ability to move the information from the
client Oracle database into our SQL database on our network via a
utility that runs on the VPN'd server.
I havent had to do anything like this before and it seems like
something that should be relatively easy to do. The problem is that
when connected to a VPN in the past we were not able to access our
local network including the SQL server etc.

is this disaster recovery / high availabilty" setup OK? ... An accounting application uses a SQL server.... servers are sync between them. ...
