You didn't just buy a database, you brought some sort of airline MIS
product, yes? Care to mention which one? In the past I worked for a

There are a truckload of reporting tools out there. You could look at
Brio which is one I've used and is good.
Or you may wish to go a step further and use a development environment
which points at your database - I use Delphi, which has its own report
writers, which is good, because there's always someone who wants the
data in a format which off-the-shelf products can't always provide.

some clues, like operating system, version of db being used and DDL.
The exact text and/or number of error messages is useful (!= "it didn't work!").
