Lift to Drag ratio.

In aerodynamics, they talk of a wing's lift to drag ratio.

A few years back, I used to use the term "hassle to power ratio" to
descibe what Marshall called the "power to weight ratio". These are all
plays on the fundamental "signal to noise ratio" of communications
engineering.

I'm migrating towards simply calling it the lift to drag ratio.

I took a brief look at XML, and decided that the lift to drag ration was
not favorable for what I was trying to do. I am sure XML has it's place in
the grand scheme of things, but not for what I do.
