Since both you, Ross, and Tony are apparently taking Paddy seriously enough
to post long posts, I'm just insanely curious. Why?
Given his manner, his website with its wildly exaggerated (if not outright
prevaricating, (watch it, says lawyer)) claims, the multiple resumes with
the same information blown up to mythical proportions, the degree from an
on-line university, the partnership with a company with an equally horrible
website, the passworded links to "stories", the refusal to convey any
useful information, and his self-aggrandization, ("I'm sorry that you cannot
imagine that someone like me could exist."), I am really afraid that you
guys may get into less-than-desirous business
relationships; please keep the fishhooks in your pockets.

FWIW, if you wanted to build from scratch, contact Jim Idle --> he has
done it before, and you may profit from his experience .... but he
WOULD be starting from scratch
Also, talk to Martin about acquiring a source code licence with a one-
off payment --> I tried thise route about 12-18 months before the
advent of "OpenQM" ... in hindsight I probably should have persued
with more gusto (note to self: Talk to Martin again when I find time
to scratch ...)
DO YOUR SUMS --> as Tony has suggested, this exercise will not be
cheap (you get what you pay for), and you may need to sell many
thousands of seats to recoup costs .... how long will that take you ?
Do the "advantages" make financial sense?
