INFORMATION SYSTEMS OVERVIEW:. The client operates in the cut and
thrust of the chilled and frozen food supply chain. Initiatives such
as web and XML based b2b ecommerce and developments such as RFID and
voice recognition technology will mean that the role of Information
Systems will become increasingly central to the company’s continuing
success. The Information Systems department comprises of four teams:
Service Desk, Business Analysts, Development and Infrastructure and

Windows XP desk-tops and around ninety servers. The main systems have
been developed in-house using D3/NT (Pick) and SB+. There are also
several bought-in business applications running mainly on SQL Server

is looking for an experienced Analyst Programmer who can help support
and maintain the in-house Pick system which will, because of ever
changing requirements, continue to be developed and enhanced until it

willing and able to migrate from the Pick environment to a wholly
Microsoft environment. The position, part of a team of four, reports
to the Infrastructure and Development Manager and will initially

order processing, warehouse management, purchase order processing and
