Hi,
My company is running an AM-960 Alpha Microsystems computer.
We are trying to find a server for the system, to keep as a back up.
It is a Series 90 and uses a tape drive.
IF ANYONE, ANYWHERE knows where I can get one of these PLEASE let me
know

We were an AlphaMicro dealer back in day (mid 1990's) and my
recollection is that they were 486 machines, and then Pentiums, some
of them used the EISA bus, which was a pain then and would be an even
bigger pain now.
I think the biggest issue you have will be finding a disk controller
that works (as the drivers were hand crafted for specfic makes and
models) and agree with the other posters that you need to migrate.
Check your SET-devicetype and T-ATT options for backward compatability
options, although I'm not sure they would be needed.
If the TAPE is of the QIC 1/4 inch variety I think you have a pretty
good shot at a restore compile and go.
