I have a Q pointer setup in D3 that points to one of my unix dirs. I
then (in windows) use Ultraedit to open from FTP and save to FTP.

You do have to be careful about stuff like tabs and newline chars to
make sure you have the format right but there is a syntax highlighting
wordfile for ultraedit.
