Job listings always ask for 20 acronyms that most people don't have.

The problem these days is the cube farm. Most companies are sticking their programmers in 6x6 cubes next to customer service people.
I know, because I work in one next to people who talk all day.

If you really want to attract good candidates, offer them offices with walls that go up to the ceiling.

Unfortunately, only managers and up get offices, so there's a have and have not world. Half the cubes in the company where I work are EMPTY, yet I'm stuck next to people who talk all day about stuff that doesn't concern me.
