Hi
We have just had the same problem pop up with JETDirect on Windows 2000.I
don't believe that it is the D3 (7.5 in our case) as it has already passed
the print to NT. We have a complication in that the client has switched
their Citrix to an Internet supplier and it can sometimes be slow. I must
check the path to the Jet box.

Hi all
Suddenly having problems with 3 Okidata (models 320,321,420) printers on
an HP JetDirect 500X (provides ethernet connection to 3 parallel port
printers). These have been running perfectly for several years, till now.
Only when printing longer reports (from D3NT V 7.4.7 o Windows 2000 Server
SP 4)the Windows error message pops up:
"There was an error found when printing the document "D3_..........". Do
you want to retry or quit". If you click "Retry" it continues and finishes
the print job (more clicks on Retry required for larger jobs).
Not sure if the JetDirect has bit the dust, and not sure how to
evaluate. Any ideas?
Also, any recommendations? Is anyone using a print server with older
impact type printers such Okidata 300's?
I'll probably wind up putting a Windows computer in with 3 parallel ports.
Rather not, esp. since I'll have to put a desk or shelf in to hold the
print server computer, monitor, etc. as the printers are not in a great
location.
Thanks
Joe
