I think that U2 "case insensitive" is about as useful as that in Cache. In
other words if you type in "LIST myfile" it will work because it will look
for "LIST" then "list" but it will still store AbRaCadAbra as a separate
item to abracadabra, not helpful. As for case-sensitive editors and
case-sensitive variable names may the parties that dreamed them up rot in
whichever HELL they support.
Also I have a distinct objection to using an operating system in any way
other than that which it comes out of the box with. One only has to look at
how tangled D3 OSFI gets between Unix and Windows to see how dangerous
anything other than plain vanilla can be.

How is that? Seems to me that on unix at least, the underlying files
and directories are all case sensitive, as are your program names
(presuming that BP is a type 1 or 19 file). Please advise, because if
there is a way to do this I would really like to know.
