Hello,
Thanks for your responses.
Here is the situation:
The machine is a 386sx machine with 2 serial ports, one parallel and a
scsi drive.
The OS/DB is an R83 V3.0 3 user system.
It is the original machine the DBMS/OS was installed
The other machine is an XP machine with a serial port (don't know if
the other details important).
My most pressing issue right now is to establish some connection to
the Pick machine.
I don't know what is supposed happen once I lauch accuterm therefore
anything could be wrong.
Jeffrey, will the wizzard automatically detect wether I am connected
or not? What is the basic test I can perform to establish
communication. Is there anything I need to do on the Pick side?
I will make sure I get a null modem tomorrow, in the mean time thanks
for your help.
Let me know if I left out any detail.
