Thanks for the note about the new release by the way. It baffles me why RD
do not do it. I welcomed the attempt at a news letter but it failed to make
it past issue 1.

Yes, 'tis a bit nippy at that hour too (no good for people with glass
houses). I tend to keep "crazy" hours anyway with kids that have
traditionally woken up when the sun hits the international date line!!

Seemed to problems with connectivity between Google & Usenet
yesterday ... I posted, waited, saw nothing, posted again ... still
noting --> gave up, saw other people were posting & repeated the
exercise (thus the 2 different wordings)

If you sign up for automatic notifications on the RD discussion forms,
then when releases like this come out & get announced, you find out
about it.

What WOULD be nice is if the same sort of updates were given in the D3/
*nix lists when updates to ABS, Monitor etc are posted - so I scan FTP
site once every week or so to try & keep on top of things
