Yeah, me too. Utterly disdained the use of A-correlatives too. I could be such a snot. The more difficult it was, the more worthwhile. I don't know when that changed, but I guess I must have mellowed somewhere along the line.

Since the introduction of the CALL from dictionary items I've turned my
back on all of that. It ain't worth the agro.
I try my best to avoid the need for BASIC calls, AND for complex correlatives. Decent database design really helps there, but of course we don't always get a say in that.
