Re: DataBasic book that leads to the best code.

Hi Henry,

I don't recall a recent book on the subject but, considering the
evolution of compilers and the various Pick flavors, what is the best
DataBasic book to teach newbies the best way to code for today's best
practices.

If not a book, is there another readily available resource like a
manual or coursework? I realize that ultimately a newbie will have to
use a variety of those resources so feel free to make any such
suggestions.

Any suggestions for a Basic book to use as the foundation or would it
be better to take a newbie without Basic experience directly into
DataBasic?

Jon Sisk's "Pick/BASIC: A Programmer's Guide" was and still is a most
excellent tutorial/reference. Sadly out of print but he has made it
available online: http://www.jes.com/pb/

Somewhere I should still have a copy, will look and let you know.
