I am dealing with an old Epicor product - ManFact. It is using a PICK system...do you know anything about this...I am trying to extract the data into SQL so we can qry the old records.
I know a fair bit about ManFACT, though it's been 5 or 6 years since I worked with it. Most of the systems I worked with in the late 90s were running on UniVerse/NT. Depending on the release of UV that you're running, you should have a perfectly good SQL engine available in UV. This would be my first suggestion. If that won't do it, consulting help can be provided (by any Pick-savvy tech) to get the data flattened and extracted. In either case ManFACT's a pretty straightforward Prime Information-derived application, so anyone with a background in UV, Unidata or Information should be able to help you. -- Cheers, SDM -- a 21st century schizoid man Systems Theory internet music project links: soundclick <www.soundclick.com/systemstheory> garageband <http://www.garageband.com/artist/systemstheory> "Soundtracks For Imaginary Movies" CD released Dec 2004 "Codetalkers" CD coming end of 2005 NP: nothing .
