Hi Robert,
I created a form, which shows me the pictures of a folder, gives me a table with some infos and I might fill in some infos like event, location, etc. For the people I click on them, and get a popUp menu with the names of the people I clicked before. I save the information of the coordinates and the names. Finally I save the infos directly in the picture, not in an external table, using the jpg comment (sort of an ini-file). And finally it is easy to rename the pictures like event - date - or whatever ...
As help programs I use irfan view to show (and rezise) the pictures in my form and jhead to read and write the jpg-comments.
When You are interested, let me know.
regards
Thies

A friend of mine is an avid hockey fan, and takes a hundred pictures per game, and I am trying to help them keep all the pictures organized. This is for a minor leauge hockey team and strictly a hobby.
When they download the pictures from their camera to their hard disk, they create a folder for each game, and then put the hundred pictures in each folder.
The original filename of the picture might be
img1234.jpg and they rename the picture to bo1234.jpg where bo is the initials of the player, example Bobby Orr.
What I would like to do is create some kind of jpg browser/viewer, that would let me browse through all pictures in a folder, and then click on a drop down list to select the players name / initials that is in the picture.
Any suggestions for using pdox to browse pictures ? .jpg files on disk are approx 1.5 Meg each.
Thanks in advance Robert Wiltshire
