OK, I thought something was being calculated. It's not; disregard that
part.
Disable all the code in the changeValue event you posted. I want you to
check what the record looks like if it's allowed to stay in the main table
rather than moved to the archive table - just as a test. Enter the amount
and hit Ctrl + F5 (to post your change) and then F9 (to leave edit mode).
What does the record look like? In your example, when the record got to
the archive table, a field that should have been $1.00 was $732161.00 - I
want to know whether the same field, left in the main table, will change
from $1.00 to $732161.00 or whether it will stay at $1.00. (You can undo
your edits, apply the code and re-do your edits later to get the record
into the archive table.)
Also, can you give a real life example of the values (if that isn't (hard
to imagine receiving $1 against an invoice)) cuz there's one known issue
that could be happening here, but not if that's the real value.
