forms6i querying CLOB field in 10g problems

HI,
I have an application which uses a CLOB datatype. The application was
developed using 6i with oracle 9i as the database. The database was
upgraded to 10G. Now when i insert data there is no problem. But if i
query for the CLOB field in forms it gives an inconsisten datatype
error. I would like to know what could be the problem. I use forms6i
with patch12.

SQL and reports does not give any trouble. Only forms gives it. IS
there any issues in Forms6i with regard to this.

Help would be appreciated.
