Re: Proper setting for java_pool for use with custom Java classes?

Hi;

I'm trying to load a couple small Java classes into my Oracle 9i
(9.2...) database and am getting the following error:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [KSMASG1], [4032], [4032],
[], [],[], [], []

... which, apparently is an "out of memory" error. I mentioned this to
the DBA for this database, who suggested we double the memory
allocation to 64mb. We did that, and are still getting the error. I
would like to suggest an appropriate setting; does anyone have any
opinions on this?

thanks!

I suggest you or your DBA search Metalink; you'll find in note 309313.1
that it's a known bug (Bug# 4014485 See Note 4014485.8) fixed in
9.2.0.7.
