Re: Oracle Database 10g R2 and RHEL4 Update 3
I'm running Oracle Database 10g R2 (10.2.0.1) on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 4 x86 Update 1.
I'd like to apply RHEL4 Update 3, that also includes a new kernel.
Will the Oracle Database still work fine after the update?
Is there a certification/support matrix for this?
It should work fine. Oracle is supported on RHEL4, regardless of the
Update. So you should be good.
There is a certification matrix on Metalink. But I am guessing that you
do not have an Oracle Support contract, which means you will not have
access to their support site.
HTH,
Brian
