Beginners list

I noticed that people asking beginner questions on this forum are
sometimes subjected to unpleasant remarks and comments. The complete
beginners are probably not welcome on comp.databases.oracle.server.
There is, however, a great resource, available to the complete beginners
in the form of a mailing list on http://www.freelists.org The list is
called oracle-l and has many great consultants as members. The owner of
the list is Steve Adams, a renowned consultant and the author of Oracle8i
Internals book, published by O'Reilly. You can subscribe by sending an
email with the subject SUBSCRIBE ORACLE-L to
oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx All questions, no matter how trivial and
naive might they sound to some, will be politely answered.
