12535 is usually caused by firewall. Remember, that the 1521 port is
only used to contact the listener. When the listener forks a session
the session is redirected to a random port. That port may be closed by
your firewall administrator.
I have posted ad nauseam the various solutions to prevent the 12535
error, so I'm not going to repeat them here.


Sybrand, we met on this argument another couple of time.
Please, look at the evidences.
The OP is using a unix (solaris).
There is no such thing as port redirection.

The client connect to the listen port and there it stays (even for the forked project).
