Error - OracleMTSRecoveryService

Oracle9i client (Windows Interface components) were apparently
incorrectly installed on a workstation and I am trying to reinstall
them. The workstation is Windows XP Pro. It gets about 80% and failes
with the following error:

================================
Error
================================
Certain files which need to be reinstalled by Oracle Universal
Installer are being used by one or more running services.

The following running services need to be shutdown before continuing:
OracleMTSRecoveryService
================================

I went to Task manager and I cannot find this service to terminate, and
there is nothing in Add/Remove programs to remove in relation to Oracle
components. Where do I need to go to stop this service so I can
perform a proper reinstall? Thanks for any suggestions.
