TOAD takes too long to close


I tend to have my TOAD app for 10-12 hours. The remote server I am
logged on keeps severing the connection after a specific idle time. As
a result, I start 10-20 sessions every day and close most of them well
before I close TOAD window in the evening. Some of them are closed
after they have lost connection with the remote server.

When I close TOAD, it seems to look for all the connections established
since TOAD was started in the morning and shows the message : "Oracle
has terminated the session or the connection has dropped". This process
takes several seconds for each of the window opened during the lifetime
of the current TOAD session being closed. How can I get TOAD to close
quickly the moment I click its 'close' button.
