HI
About 2 months ago I installed Oracle 9i personal edition on my laptop
having windows xp home edition. I followed instructions; downloaded the
zip files into disk1, disk2 , disk3 , unzipped them, ran the
installation successfully.
Thanks guys....for responding.........The last time I posted an
enquiry.....and many guys criticized the way I
posted...."Reply"..."Reply All"....I didn't know how to post
back.....and still don't know....
1. I have tried the following usernames
Scott
System
Sys
2. The error I get is
ERROR:
ORA-12560: TNS: protocol adapter error
3. And to the gentleman who suggested I read the manual before
installation, I would like to say, I did that. I went to "Enterprise
Manager Console" and made some changes so that I could use "HR"
username
4. I'm trying to prepare for oracle certification IZ0-007 exam
Thanks very much again.
