2003 Runtime and Full version on same machine?

This is probably a stupid question but I'll ask anyway. Can the Access runtime and the full version coexist on the same machine? The reason I ask is that I want to create a 2003 runtime and want to be able to test the process. Since the runtime modifies the registry entries I want to make sure. I've had my experience of installing 97 after 2000 and I don't need to experience version problems from MS.
