Hi,
I am running the latest Access 2007 software, but it does not seem to
be compatible with earlier versions of the software.

When trying to access a db created in access 2003, I get teh message
that my db contains a missing or broken link to the file, fpdtc.dll.
To be sure I got the picture, Access repeats this message several
times. Finally able to enter the db, certain functions and macros seem
not to be working.

I have all the latest software updates.

Anybody got a fix for this?

Best regards
Eskil

I had read this particular fix, but don't know how to create a module.
I could not find "Referernces" under "Database Tools". Please
advice... /Eskil

I don't have A2007 loaded but I'm sure it's similar enough to all other versions that you'd get to the database window (the one you use to create tables, queries, forms, reports, and modules. Click Modules/New.

In prior versions one went to Tools/References once you had a code module.
