It would seem your statement of capability deficiency for this forum is that it's old and you don't have a pick list of fancy smilies to choose from. So what if the newsgroup is "old"? It's an invaluable resource that has not been trolled out like some usenet groups.
If you absolutely positively must have a web interface or are incapable of expressing your responses in a text environment, then look for other forums, there are several out there like AccessMonster, possibly DevelopersDex.
However please do not presume to push your wishes and desires on other people who find this forum excellent.
