If it makes a difference, the DB in question was initially created in Access95, converted to Access97 perhaps 3 years ago, and then converted to AccessXP a year ago..

A user is trying to find a particular record. If she does a Ctrl-F, the second time the Find is invoked, the above runtime error occurs. Subsequent Finds are not generally a problem, though on rare occasion she gets the old Microsoft Send/Don't Send screen.

I've seen quite a few articles on the error but not in this fashion (basic MS functionality). Any thoughts on how to correct?

Office XP, Windows XP. Office and OS are fully patched via Windows Update.
