i dint have access on the computer so proceeded to install it. having
gone through all the neccesary things to do i tried opening it and got
the following message:

"Microsoft Access cannot open this file

The file is located outside your intranet or an untrusted site.
Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential security

To open the file, copy it to your machine or an accessible network

What do i do? any help would be greatly needed as i am behind in my cwk
and the deadline is 2 days away. thanx

See if you can open the new version of Access on your home PC - don't click on any access MDB file, just try to open the software. IF that works, then click on File - Open and browse to the MDB file.
