I can't think of a way with an Access backend, but with many server backends (SQL Server, MySQL, etc) there is an option to connect to them through the internet via OBDC (and also perhaps OLE DB?).
Depending on your purpose and trust level, you could allow this person 'Remote Access' to your PC (assuming WinXP). This is actually Terminal Server, so they would have a window that is the Desktop of your PC.
