If I understand correctly, you are looking for a "full bleed" printer -
something that does not have an edge of page forced margin (most printers
force about .25" border).
Many of the newer inkjet office printers can do full bleed since most are
photo color quality. These things can be had for fairly cheap too (under
$200 - and if you do your research you can probably pick something cheap up
for under $100).
I don't know if inkjet is the way you want to go - that all depends on the
amount of printing that gets done on these. Inkjet ink can be costly and
the devices can be slow. (comparatively to laser printers that is). But
many do have document feeder capabilities.
Your other option you might want to consider is doing away with the paper
copies and investing in a good docu-feeder scanner and scan to file, and use
a DB app to add your time/date/project info stamp to the scanned file. One
good scanner (or even a multi function device like a xerox copier w/ scan
features enabled) can be shared by admins. They can process files and then
once a day go to the scanner, scan all documents to files, then go to the
DB, import the scans, add the date stamp and you can even setup your DB to
file the files on a network share somewhere and track them that way. (or
spend the $$ to invest in a document management system such as Hummingbird
or Alchemy offer).
