So there are no UDT's - quite frankly they scare me, although lately
I've been toying with the idea of Polar Co-ordinates and spherical
trigonometry functions as an example case...
If you are going to do those, a little more effort could lead to
space/time co-ordinates and warp factors. For those programmers
and DBAs working extra-terrestrially they would be very useful.
Just a suggestion ;-)
And a brilliant suggestion it is too!
Although I have to confess that the stupidest prop I have ever seen used
as an astro-navigation tool on a Science Fiction Program was a Sextant
in an episode of 'Deep Space 9'. It would be hard to top that.
Now I have to go and do a Captains Log...
