In which case, let them know it doesn't work on II 9.0.4 (r64.us5/105)

You've got a bug to repoort to IngresCorp.

That works fine (ie returns 922.613) on the following:
II 2.6/0604 (int.lnx/00) + patch11814
II 3.0.3 (a64.lnx/211) + patch11577
II 9.0.4 (a64.lnx/105)NPTL + patch11936

we have Ingres 2006 (a64.lnx), SUSE linux 10 and this select

select 550.000*(29.02/28.225)+
327.000*0.98*(29.02/28.225)+
(750*1.04)/28.225+(750*((20.22-20.22)/20.22) /28.225)

returns E_AD1127 Packed Decimal overflow detected in query.
Any ideas?
