Re: [Info-ingres] termcap Issues Under Linux

Thank you for the enhanced termcap and mapping files. I installed them and
changed ownership to user ingres. In testing the konsole[l] xterm entry
(TERM_INGRES=konsolel), I now receive the following error when invoking an
ingres app (install/ingbuild here):
Can't open terminal specific mapping file. [PRESS RETURN]
which I have received many times in the past two days. I changed the
termcap mf entry to ansif.map despite the fact all the PF keys aren't
mapped correctly and it works. Listings of the two mapping files:
-rw-r--r-- 1 ingres users 2606 2005-03-16 16:26 files/ansif.map
-rw-r--r-- 1 ingres users 2631 2005-11-29 21:57 files/konsole.map
Any ideas as to why ingres FRS can't find some mapping files but can find
others?
(The only thought I had was that the konsole termcap entry exceeded the
2000 character limit for a termcap entry but I show it is only 1011 characters
including whitespace and 1215 including the konsolel stub entry.)
Again, this is Ingres r3.0.2(int.lnx/105).
Thank you,
Lucky
