[Info-ingres] Tar does not look like a tar archive



Trying to install ingres on virgin machine, redhat 9 with all patches

$tar -tvf ingres-3.0.2-105-pc-linux-i386.tar
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Archive contains obsolescent base-64 headers
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
$

Ls -l ingres-3.0.2-105-pc-linux-i386.tar gives a size of 109852511
