We started the competition early February, so this is not really
new news, however, it seems that our delays were wrong.



So read:

Have your videos ready by April 1st 2008, further
instructions will be provided



Voting will start soon after that…

IIUG is running a video contest!

The videos should illustrate Informix Dynamic Server in action.
IIUG will display the videos on IIUG.TV. Videos can be informative, fun,
hilarious, sad or dramatic, but please do not hurt any animals or databases in
the shooting!

You can pick your genre; anime, interview, Western... and pick
any location; street-talk, dark data center, Paris' catacombs, Stuart's house
(I can give the address if you need it)!

If you need inspiration, visit IIUG.TV or YouTube (Informix search).

IIUG will give away two passes to our 2009 Conference —
this is a value of over $1000 per winner! We will announce results during the
Annual IIUG General Meeting (AGM) at the 2008 IIUG Conference.

Two categories:


Humor — can include jokes

Serious


There is one winner in each category. Each winner gets TWO free
passes to IIUG Conference 2009.

Rules:


Board members, CPC members and
Jury cannot compete
IIUG gets full rights to use
the video
Video producers are free to use
IIUG artwork
You can use your artwork to
promote your company
Video should not be more than
10 minutes long
No violent or sexual content














Dates:


Have your videos ready by March
1st 2008, further instructions will be provided
Winners will be announced
during the AGM at the 2008 IIUG Conference*
on April 28th
