The blog entry states IDS 11.10 support is for "SAPproducts based on

I am not aware of IDS support in later versions ofSAP, though I hope
that changes some day.
So what are IBM doing about this then?
On the evidence of the private mails I've had from IBMers since my
original
post: lots.
They're trying very hard to talkSAPinto supporting IDS again on new
releases, and are encouraged by the support offered for IDS 11 on the old
version.
Neil, care to share any of these private mails. Or can someone from
IBM mail me.
We moved our SAP db to DB2 just because of no support. Suddenly we get
this announcement and IDS is off the chart for later versions of SAP.
It's looking like we may continue our original plans (which were
halted by this announcement) to migrate all databases to DB2
otherwise. If newer versions of SAP were certified on IDS then we
would probably stay with it.
I've sent you a privte mail.
Also I'll ask the lady from IBM US who gave me the latest update in October
if I may post her reply on this board.
