Ben,
Don't you see something strange on one of machines,
like an abrupt increase of CPU usage?
Are there some strange messages in Windows system
and application logs (in 'Event viewer')?
Is Firewall started on Windows?
Is IPV6 started?
For safety, try to configure al least two CPU VP's on each
machine and move NETTYPE to NET VP

Yes, the directory name is the same on both servers. That is to say
server2 has a ol_server1 directory and the files in exactly the same
location. If it didn't I don't think the archive would restore

Not relevant to your problem, but this seems a bit high on Windows
AIOuses KAIO unless you're doing lots of sqexplain type logging.
It's mostly there for things like that and the online log. I'm told
VPs don't consume many resources simply by being there. 1 or 2 would
probably be enough for most of the time I agree.
Ben.
