This consumes a lot of space in our file system.


No it cannot take any space. /proc is just a virtual filesystem, all the
files listed above are used for process control. DO NOT TOUCH THEM.

What are these files
and can we move these files to a different disk or send then to null
device.


nope, unless you want to crash your system
