Sun Solaris /proc Directory

I find in the /proc directory in our Sun Solaris Box lot of folders
starting with a number.

( I see around 72 directories with different numbers)

Under each of the folder I see the following files :-

This consumes a lot of space in our file system. What are these files
and can we move these files to a different disk or send then to null
device.
