Of all the myriad of things I hate about it, perhaps the worst is when
trying to find something (sales, support) specific to one's own country or
location. I start off in, say, www.ibm.co.uk, click on a couple of
likely-looking links and - Hey Presto! - I'm in the worldwide site again,
which basically means useless-to-me 1-800 numbers (as "worldwide" is of
course synonymous with "American").

Arrrgggghhhhhh!

An IBM UK marketing exec recently told me that there is a UK Informix site
set up. I challenge anyone to navigate to it from www.ibm.com or
www.ibm.co.uk, i.e. without already knowing the URL.
