Hello,
I have a file named X with 5 tables (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5). (FMPA9)
For some reason I want to save X as a clone and then import the records from
the "Old" File into the "same" cloned one.
When using the script step "Import Records" I can determine from what file I
want to import and then I can also determine to what table target I wan't to
import. Only, I don't have the possibility to determine from which source
table I want to import.
I wan't to import all this with the option "Perform without dialog".
When doing this, FMP tries to import the content form table 1 into table 1,
but after that he tries to import te content from table 1 into table 2, from
table 1 into table 3, from table 1 into table 4 and from table 1 into table
5. Of course, this is all wrong.
How can I determine what the source table is, if I dont have the abbility to
select a source table in "Import Field Mapping".
Thank you,
Marc
You do have the ability to select the source table.
The source file has to be correctly selected, then you select the source
table on the pop-up on the left side of the upper part of the
field-mapping dialog box. You select the target table from the pop-up on
the right side.
