activate script upon field exit plugin ?

I found Howards post from 2004 or 2006,but cant find it again , there
is a plugin of the same name on my filemaker 9 advanced disk. I want
to update one date field on my master db from a daily work temporary
login file. I want the Temp_Date_Delivered field to go to the related
record in my master db and update the Date_Delivered field upon record
commit or exit. This field will then be viewable on the web layout
thru my PHP web page.
Both files are hosted on FMS 9 v3/ win200 server, accessed by a
variety of fm 7 8 9 clients. If I click on the win_example file will
it automatically install the plugin? or what?
