fms 9 php web page works in firefox and opera NOT IE 7

my 5 month journey to the web is 80% successful. My web page is
online, but all searches in IE render the equivalent of 'find all'
records (displaying 25 at a time out of 231,000 records). Finds work
normally in firefox and opera...... any guesses would help.
