I have a Zip Code Table that pushes the city and state via a lookup to
each of the city state fields in all the tables that use address
fields.
My problem is that the lookups are only working on the first related
table, meaning the table I first made the relationship with the zip
code table...
So this proceedure works great on on table... but none of the
others... BUT FMP allows me to set all the other state and city fields
to be looked up based on the already existing relationship to the zip
code table!
What am I doing wrong?
Sounds like a problem with the data model. The lookups will only work,
if each pair of data table occurrence and zip table occurrence is
connected directly via the Zip Code.
My bet is that you need some additional table occurrences of the zip
code table.
