Re: Server 9 mysterious intermittent file crash

Nobody yet answered you, so I'll try to say something.
To me it's that something happens at that day/time that make the FM to be closed. I know what I said is pretty obvious, but now the question is what could it be ?
I don't see well how it could happen from within FM itself, or else from your database - unless you have scheduled activities buried into FM ... -.
So you should look to an external reason.
We don't know enough on your real operations to tell you what it is. But it could be an external backup of the FM file which is not allowed therefore makes (?) the system hang up. Just have a precise look on what could happen then, and if you can't find the reason that way, just set up the Monday operations with the minimum required. Start with one file one machine then add things until you face the dysfunctionning.
HTH.
Let us know.

fms9, win 2k, finally got php web access to work, now I get
intermittent corruption of my main database file of 200,000 records.
Once per week i get a 'file closed' status on my database admin
overview and I have to offload it to another machine, open with fm 9
or 8, close and then re upload to the server, works a week, then same
thing...... any help out there?
